Is it just me or is the weather up and down hot then cold. Usually I change my closet to match the seasons. This year I have decided to to try and keep all seasons available to me year around. This will be the first time I have ever done this. Shouldn't be a very hard thing to do living in California. The winters are short and not very cold, the summers are hot but with California basically being a desert it cools down as the sun sets.

One of the easiest ways to dress for this cold then warm weather is closed toe shoes and sweaters or a light jacket. Leggings are always good as well as a great scarf. Honestly the best item in my closet to make dressing for the day is a cardigan. They have so much versatility, in fact a cardigan can completely change an outfit. Worn with a work outfit takes you from boring office dressing to a stylish professional look. Not to mention it helps keep you warm in a cold office environment. Wearing a cardigan to work can help you stretch your after work wardrobe allot farther.Try wearing a top you would usually wear on a day off and layer on a cardigan with it. Now you have a whole new look to wear to the office.  A day off or a night out on the town and a cardigan can fit right in. One of my favorite ways to wear a cardigan is belted. Belting a cardigan brings in the waist and gives the illusion of an hourglass figure. A little smoke and mirrors never hurt. 

By adding a few cardigans to your closet you are not only adding a workhorse to your wardrobe, You are adding an easy way to stay current with fashion while bringing in lots of versitility.
